I never really play around with JAR files much, so this comment could be totally off base, but, could you have not just used the cfzip tag? It accepts a JAR file and you could use the list action and just dumped that out, right? or am i missing the point? It's Friday so my brain has shut of ffor t... read more »

Thanks guys! Praise is always appreciated! It was a fun experience. I actually got to learn a lot while I was researching the different things to teach. In 2 weeks I am hoping that we will have 100% if our employees certified! Now i just need to move on to my next goal. Anyone have any ideas?... read more »

I still don't get what you hate about iTunes. It is awesome! I never experience it being clunky. Maybe it is because you are on Vista :-) Have you checked out the genius feature? I didn't think it would be any use but it has reminded me about all the other music i have on my machine.... read more »

I think what I actually said about the onRequest method was that it was evil and I don't use it :-) One thing I love about doing the application file in script tags is that i find it very readable, but i think that is mostly because I use script tags a lot in my code. @Tom, That makes sense. @anyone If a user was to right click and to choose save target as, would they be able to save the file? Or would this try and have them save a .cfm file. I have had instances that when they have chosen to save target it has prompted as the file name "a file name.cfm" e... read more »

@Tom, With the id method would you be passing in the document ID and checking it against a permissions join table? My thought is that if you pass in an id couldnt somoene just change the id to get access to a different file?... read more »

When you do an onclick function, would that track it as a hit if i were to right click on the link? If so would that not provide you with an accurate result?
