Tales Of Revolution And A Sense Of Community

Today, I am shocked, elated, and deeply touched to find out that I have been selected to appear in Seth Godin's latest book, "Tales of the Revolution: True Stories of People who are Poking the Box and Making a Difference." This wonderful news is entirely due to the awesome Paul Carney - business entrepreneur and fellow ColdFusion developer. A few weeks ago, Paul submitted the story, "A Community Builder Who Brought Us Together With A Picture," to The Domino Project - a Seth Godin initiative. Of the over 200 stories submitted, Paul's was one of a handful selected for publication.

Right now, I have so many wonderful thoughts running through my head and I don't know quite how to put them into words. I do what I do because I absolutely love what I do. Part of that passion is, in no doubt, fueled by the wonderful people around me and the strong sense of community that we have in the ColdFusion world. I spend more time talking to you guys over blog, email, Twitter, and IM than I do talking to anyone else; and, I couldn't be happier about that. Our community is like a family and I, for one, am thrilled to be part of it.

To read more about this, including the story that Paul wrote, check out Paul Carney's blog.

Cool, Congratulations!! your web site is a must-read reference for our Coldfusion developers in Colombia, same way is Seth's Books for our iMarketing Deparment.

I believe in love. I believe in compassion. I believe in human rights. I believe that we can afford to give more of these gifts to the world around us because it costs us nothing to be decent and kind and understanding. And, I want you to know that when you land on this site, you are accepted for who you are, no matter how you identify, what truths you live, or whatever kind of goofy shit makes you feel alive! Rock on with your bad self!
