@Ben, That's right... the difference between physical rules of engagement that must abide by law vs rules for our souls which is above any law. For example, In reality the person who commits a crime is punishable by law. But morally both the person who commits and the one who thinks of committing a... read more »

The Five Secrets You Must Discover Before You Die By John Izzo

If anyone interested, here is a mantra that I say it aloud to calm myself down and feel better. This is an ancient sanskrit hymn. This reminds me that each of us individually can't be happy and content until everyone is happy and content. Makes me feel good to pray for everyone than just for myself.... read more »

@Ben, The more I think about 'become love', the more i come up with positive thoughts. It's like "if you smile, the world will smile with you." It's truly a mantra... I'll have to remember to say it to myself when I get annoyed or irritated by anything...:) I like @WebManWalking's sugges... read more »

@Ben, What an amazing TED talk. Thanks for sharing. They should have all the doctors watch this. I'm yet to find a doctor for me who is really compassionate. So far only one I have met who is very old and he is one of my son's pediatricians. The worst are the obgyn in my experience. When I was pr... read more »

@Ben, Finally got a chance to read this post...:) Think you had talked about it in brief earlier. Thanks for sharing the GF anecdote. I feel most of the times more than fear we are affected by lack of trust. She actually finally got to know you to the point she trusted to share the past which may h... read more »

@Anna, Actually I wanted to elaborate more last night, but my thoughts were all scattered and bouncing off all over the place…:) So by "self dies", I meant soul. Since I believe in each of us if we are truly connected or even if not-so connected with ourselves; our conscience and soul fee... read more »

@Ben, I think you have truly flipped selfless love on it's head to prove it's possibility or attainability...:) Love it! I recently read a quote: Weak thoughts and feelings often feel strong but remember, real strength is never anxious, cruel, or punishing. ~ Guy Finley For me this explains how... read more »

@Anna, What you have mentioned about settling out of desperation doesn't come in the realm of love. It may fall under pseudo love... But the irony is that love is so complex and powerful that a pseudo love can turn to real love with time and seemingly true love may turn out was nothing but a pseud... read more »

@Ben, I love how you brought up 'Timeless' to define love. Because trying to define an unconditional love becomes conditional in one way or other ... the definition somehow confines it. Also unconditional and selfless love is best defined to be mother or father's love for a child. In romantic terms... read more »

@Sharon, That's pretty revealing... and true I think...:) I think all sorts of porn would be stimulating to various extent, hard to think anyone would be immune to it. @Anna, I love all Alba products. There are ranges of these in whole foods. We have something called Whole Earth by us. But I pretty much go to whole foods on weekly basis, sometimes twice a week. Trader Joes also carry some cool organic stuffs also. I have used the alba lavender deo before. Yea it'... read more »

@Ben, Have you tried Cowboy Natural Deodrant? You can get it in whole foods. For work out sessions Mitchum is also pretty good. @Anna, There are also body sprays and body mists and organic fragrance oil for the ones who don't like perfume/deodrant. I usually get lost around those aisles at whole... read more »

@Ben, This is actually a useful test. I used to use QOQs quite a bit when I was coding in CF5 and used to manipulate using QuerySetCell and QueryAddRow etc. But had faced few weird errors after migrating to MX. So lately I rarely use QOQ. So I have moved on to arrays of structures instead. I partic... read more »
