Floridians do have it tough; every year we have to bear the influx of global climate change refugees ... er, snowbirds. @Ben, I guess I was a bit tired and didn't articulate my thought well; my bad. What I meant was that for the display in your blog post, if you used a monospaced font, it would better convey that everything was equal in character count. You can workaround your lack of pre in this case by specifying a fixed-width/monospaced font.
