    @Ben: Right, MySQL's ISNULL() behaves diffently to MSSQL. But shouldn't ISNULL() return whether a value is NULL or not? For the desired result MySQL provides IFNULL() , which behaves like ISNULL() in MSSQL and has the 'correct' function naming.... read more »
