    @Qasim Rasheed Exactly, that's known as the application proxy method, which is what I use. The problem arises when trying to make the variables created by the root cfc available to the sub/cfc.     What it seems to come down to is Dreamweavers history of being a WYSIWYG editor /html generator, then having Coldfusion features thrown in.
