Interesting, I didn't even realize there was a CSS hack for this! When I have needed fixed positioning for IE6 in the past I used the jQuery Scroll Follow plugin, which also has some additional features like easing effects ( http://plugins.jquery.com/project/scroll-follow ).... read more »
