Ben, Yeah, I'm not sure about CFCookie - I always assumed that would save a cookie to file storage, and reading the CFML reference supports that assumption for me (unless I'm reading it wrong). My company has a similar setup: SSL/J2EE Sessions, and we don't have any cookie problems. On the CF Admin (We are using v7.02), in the "Server Settings > Client Variables " section, Under the "Select Default Storage Mechanism for Client Sessions" section, select "None".
