ColdFusion SESSION Is Always Created Even If OnSessionStart() Fails

This is one of the differences between CF and Railo. Sessions are not constructed until first use in Railo, but CF constructs them immediately. So, in Railo, onSessionStart does not run until you actually try to set a value into session scope, but in CF it's called on the first request.... read more »
