At last: I figured out what the zoom issue was! It was an app issue which directly involved page vs. client values. Follow up: on closer investigation the client and page values are consistently the same (at least in Chrome). The zoom issue I described is still not 100% clear to me. But I changed the lasso positioning to fixed and removed the calculation to adjust for any page offset positioning of the view conta... read more »
