Typically, on holidays like Valentine's Day, I like to make a fun graphic for my website. But today, someone beat me to it! This morning, I was very flattered and excited to wake up to the following email:
To Ben, I just wanted to say how much I love your web site. The videos and tutorials you've posted about JQuery have been so helpful!! I have to admit I don't really read your Cold Fusion posts since I'm a PHP developer (don't hold it against me LOL), but I really respect what you're doing. Great to see that there are other female developers out there .. sometimes there feels like there are too few of us.. also, perhaps Alicia would like to visit the PHPWomen Group (if she hasn't already).. Be nice to have someone else who understands jQuery lol..

Kathryn, there are enough female developers in the world. My girlfriend for example has done a webdesign and animation study and has learned some CF of me ofcourse.
In the company I work at the moment are currently two female programmers (CF!).
Im sure there are plenty of PHP and ASP developers out there too, just don't want to be bothered with that hehe.
Ben: this post works very well with the fake CF9 versus PHP or ASP or JSP adult dating commercials hehe.
