Josh Adams Of New Atlanta Gives An Introduction To AJAX For CFML Developers At NYCFUG
I just found out that next Tuesday, the 13th of February, Josh Adams will be speaking at the New York ColdFusion Users Group about AJAX and ColdFusion. Here is the description as taken from www.nycfug.org:
You've probably thought about using Ajax in your web applications. You probably know that using Ajax in your web applications can significantly improve your user's experiences with those web applications. But you may not know exactly how Ajax works and even if you do, you might not know how to begin using it. This presentation will give you a great start!
In this presentation, Josh Adams of New Atlanta will explain what Ajax is and how it works. He will then give an overview of two Ajax implementations: Spry and AjaxCFC. Josh will demonstrate how each of these works with Adobe ColdFusion as well as with New Atlanta's BlueDragon.
Josh will round out the evening with a presentation showcasing BlueDragon 7.0 and some of its distinctive features, including CFTHREAD, nulls, CFQUERY enhancements, and abstract CFCs and interfaces.
You should totally be there! Look guys, when I look at my Google Analytics, it shows 160 New Yorkers hitting my web site. 160! More of you need to start showing up at the ColdFusion meetings. We're good people, I swear :)

Don't show up to the NYCFUG! They are all fugazi's! They'll mob you too. :) Nice to see that he will be presenting there. My best friend lives in NYC now and I'm supposed to be going eventually to visit him. I definitely have it in my plans to stop by at a NYCFUG meeting sometime.
As always, I'll be there.
@Javi,
Looking forward to it.
@Dmitriy,
Sweeeet. Yeah NYCFUG! We rock.
@Ben - Thanks for the heads up. I *always* miss these because I never seem to get the announcement emails. See ya on Tuesday!
