Who Me???

Oh, work's been crazy! I have been working nose to the grind stone for the last three months or so getting RecycleBank.com ready for a huge shift in their recycling paradigm. RecycleBank.com, which is an amazing, feel-good-about-yourself, incentive's based recycling program created by Ron Gonen, has completely upgraded their system to allow for use with apartment buildings, school complexes, corporate locations, and multi-home users.

While the front of the site has not changed noticeably, the underlying code has been overhauled for flexibility and the back end has been about half rebuilt.

As we move into Phase 4 of this project (with this launch) we are going to look forward to scrapping the current reporting system and building the it from the ground up with some sort of star schema technology. I am really looking forward to learning about that stuff.

Bottom line, though, things should be lightening up for me of the next week or two and I should be back on track with my side project. I can't wait to get to read through all of the Frameworks Conference presentation notes and overviews. Sorry I missed it! Thanks for writing stuff up. The ColdFusion community rocks it hard core!

There were some great presentations at the frameworks conference Ben. Luckily everyone is putting up their presentations and downloads so definitely take a look at as many as you can. It was great to meet so many cool developers at the conference. Got to meet your fellow NYCFUGers Peter Bell and Clark Valberg. Will you be attending CF United this year?

I believe in love. I believe in compassion. I believe in human rights. I believe that we can afford to give more of these gifts to the world around us because it costs us nothing to be decent and kind and understanding. And, I want you to know that when you land on this site, you are accepted for who you are, no matter how you identify, what truths you live, or whatever kind of goofy shit makes you feel alive! Rock on with your bad self!
