If you like using CFQuickDocs, you are gonna love this Bookmarklet by Boyan Kostadinov. It's basically a Javascript Prompt box that takes your ColdFusion "query" and sends you directly to the desired CFQuickDocs information. Check it out.

Err... that's kind of cool, but why not just use LiveDocs?

It's a matter of convenience. If I wanted to use LiveDocs I would have to go to it and search it (and anyone who has used LiveDocs knows that it can be slow, especially if you have the left hand nav loaded). The Bookmarklet or the FireFox plugin takes all the grunt work out of it for you.
Agreed Ben, CFQuickDocs is super quick and super sweet. Livedocs can take forever!

My hosting company was recently bought by Vivio. CFQuickDocs was working last week, but not now. I'm not sure why. I'll look into it.

Awesome sauce! This has been a long week or two without quick docs. I was shocked by often I referred to it (which I noticed by how often I realized it was down).
I had to resort to googling for things like, "Coldfusion 9 livedocs arrayfind"... which almost never brings me to the page I want :(

Ok guys, the CF9 docs are working now too. :)
When the hosting company copied my database to their new servers, for some reason the CF9 docs table was not copied. All is well now.
Are you sure? http://cfquickdocs.com/cf9/#arrayLen doesn't give results.. Neither does searching for a function.
Well, it was up yesterday when I posted that comment. There are some odd things going on with this new host. They fixed the DB again, but now the site is freezing up again like it was earlier this week. Sigh...
Ok guys, at this moment in time, CFQuickDocs is fully functional again. I am not going to hold my breath on it though...we're still trying to figure out what's causing these issues.
