Working Code Podcast - Episode 76: Ben Needs A Minute

If I crush it in the woods, and no one is there to see it, am I truly crushing it? Such are the philosophical questions that go through my brain as I continue to pour my heart and soul into a legacy product that no one else at the company cares about. That is, except for the customers that still log into the legacy platform on a daily basis. Don't those customers deserve something? Ultimately, I just want to hear that I'm doing a good job — words of affirmation are my love language.

All that and more on this week's show:

@ben

"Shake and Bake" is most definitely "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby"

My affirmation for you: Ben, you're doing a great job improving your customer's work life!

FYI: Your Podcast page is missing the last two entries (75 and 76). is the Podcast page manually edited, or is it generated, but you have to manually trigger the generation?

@Danilo,

Thank you for the kind words 🤗 The missing links is due to caching. I'll reset the cache. I have it on my to-do list to have the Tag-based cache clear correctly. It's one of the things I've missed in my recent updates. Thanks for the reminder!

I believe in love. I believe in compassion. I believe in human rights. I believe that we can afford to give more of these gifts to the world around us because it costs us nothing to be decent and kind and understanding. And, I want you to know that when you land on this site, you are accepted for who you are, no matter how you identify, what truths you live, or whatever kind of goofy shit makes you feel alive! Rock on with your bad self!
